ABOUT
The DST–CURIE Project, supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, is a capacity-building initiative aimed at strengthening and upgrading the research infrastructure of women’s institutions. The programme focuses on the creation and augmentation of state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, procurement of advanced scientific equipment, and provision of financial support for undertaking quality research in priority areas of science and technology. The initiative is intended to enhance institutional research capabilities, promote interdisciplinary and translational research, and create a sustainable research ecosystem. Further, the project seeks to strengthen academic–research linkages and collaborations within and across institutions, fostering knowledge sharing and effective utilization of DST-supported infrastructure.
