The academic session of the college extends from 1st June to 31st May.
Admission to +3 Classes is being conducted through Student Academic Management System (SAMS) with effect from the academic session 2010-11. One Common Application Form (CAF) is being use for applying for admission to +3 classes of 53 Degree Colleges. One Common Prospectus (CP) is being used. Both of these are available in the Government website www.dheorissa.in. Selection based on merit is done by e-Admission Steering Committee and intimation to selected candidates are sent through SAMS / TOll FREE Phone No. 155335/0FFICIAl WEBSITE/NOTICE BOARD of the Applied College. Admission is done in two stages - Preliminary Admission at the Applied College and Final Admission at the Destination College. Applicants download the relevant pages from the Internet and print for their use.

Admission is done in two stages Preliminary Admission at the Applied College and Final Admission at the Destination College.
Each student must register in the college office her permanent and local address along with her phone number. Any subsequent change of address must be immediately intimated to the college office.
Students are advised to keep their Identity Cards always with them. Which will entitle them to all privileges of the college ‘student. The Identity Card is to be produced on demand; moreover, it must be renewed every year. Loss of Identity Card is a seriousoffence.However, duplicate Identity Card can be issued on payment of a fine of Rs. 10/- in the college office. Student has to surrender the Identity card at the time of issue of CLC & Conduct Certificate.
Students shall have to attend at least 75% of the general and practical classes. A candidate shall be required to attend 75% of theory and practical classes, separately, in each subject, during each academic year and consideration in exceptional cases may be granted by the Principal to the extent of 15%. There is no rule to help the student in case her percentage of attendance falls below the irreducible minimum of 60% as the case may be during an academic year.
(i) No student either a boarder or a Day Scholar will be allowed to take any sort of active part in any political organisation. Boarders shall not attend any meeting without the prior permission of the authority
(ii) Students are forbidden from tampering with electrical installations. No one shall be allowed to utilize them after college hours without the prior permission of the authority.
(iii) Students remaining absent from any college examination without obtaining permission from the Principal will be fined and her promotion may be withheld. iv) Continuous and willful absence without permission for leave is a serious breach of discipline.

(v) Students should take their seats before the teachers enter the classrooms and should not ordinarily leave their seats during the lecture hour. Latecomers may not be allowed to enter the classroom and they cannot claim their attendance even if they are allowed.
Fees must be paid in the college office on the days fixed for collection. If the fees are not paid by the last working day of the month, the names of the defaulters will be struck o from the college rolls and readmission will be allowed on an additional payment of admission fee amounting to one month’s tuition fee. In special case, re-admission will be allowed with an additional payment of Rs. 0.15 per working day from the date of admission fixed. For this purpose, a written application should be submitted to the Principal through the proctor, for such orders. Students are not ordinarily allowed to leave the college during college hours. In case of urgency, students are required to take permission from the Principal before leaving the College.
Lesson Plans of individual teachers shall be made available to the students and teachers shall record the progress of course coverage in the Progress Register. Both the Lesson Plan and the Progress Register will be inspected by the Principal and the Director of Higher Education as and when they desire.
A candidate shall apply to the Principal in the prescribed Proforma for C.L.C, Conduct Certificate, and Mark Sheet along with necessary clearance certificates. The certificates will be issued 3 days after the date of submission of the application. The candidate is required to mention her college Roll No., year of admission, University /CHSE Roll No. and Name of Examination Passed / appeared. C.L.C will be issued to the student only. However in exceptional cases, the student may authorize the guardian to receive the C.L.C on her behalf on production of the Identity Card of the student.
